The GMC Savana chassis is a great option that is widely available and highly customizable. TAG’s Base Armor Specification is:

  • TAG-B4 CIT Armor
  • 360-degree ballistic safety cell/armor outfit in ballistic steel and ballistic glass for all vertical and horizontal surfaces with .44 Mag and below pistol round stopping power (Excluding firewall armor)  
  • 2-Piece ballistic flat glass in ballistic steel frame for windscreen
  • 1-piece ballistic flat glass in frame for doors and view ports 
  • (4) High Security Locks/Keys
  • (3) Door Power Release Solenoids, driver operated

In Nato a Standardization Agreement (STANAG) defines processes, procedures, terms, and conditions, for a common military or technical procedures or equipments between the member countries of the alliance. Each NATO state ratifies a STANAG and implements it within their own military.

The purpose of the Association of Testing Centers for Anti-Aggressive Materials and Constructions (VPAM) is to promote the exchange of experience, mutual assistance in technical matters and mutual information.

Among other things, a common opinion will be made possible in central questions of the testing of attack-inhibiting materials (eg. in the development and introduction of new standards and guidelines).

Members of VPAM are independent and committed to neutrality. the testing bodies, which are members of the VPAM, work according to the relevant quality standards EN ISO / IEC 17025 (General requirements for the competence of test laboratories) and EN 45011 (General requirements for bodies which operate product certification systems.
